Numerals in Tamil Language

Tamil Illakangal (தமிழ் இலக்கங்கள்) or Tamil Numerals refers to numerals system of Tamil language used officially in Tamil Nadu, India and by Tamil speaking people around the world.

There are two numeral system. Ancient Tamilakam based Tamil script and Sanskrit based modern Tamil script. These numerals were used, but now Hindu-Arabic numeral system have become commonplace.
