Internal Memory:
- Also referred as on-chip memory
- Physically exists on the microcontroller itself
- Includes Program or Instruction or Code Memory, Data Memory and Registers
- Also referred as off-chip memory
- Resides outside of microcontroller
- Physically connected to microcontroller
- Includes Program Memory and Data Memory
