Subtracting Hex Numbers
- If the second digit is greater than the first, borrow 16 from preceding digit.

| (2 from 4 (5-1) = 2) | ||
| = | 2E7 |
Subtract F88 – 9B8.
| F88 | (8 from 8 = 0) | |
| - | 9B8 | (11 from 24 (8+16) = 13(D)) |
| (9 from 14 (15-1) = 5) | ||
| = | 5D0 |
